The Osprey Gala and Auction takes place in late September/early October of each year. When fundraising ideas were first thrown around over 25 years ago, the idea of having a black-tie dinner gala under a tent in the 7th District was sparked. Since its inception, its success has continued to grow and provides the main funding for the Hundred’s operations of the Blackistone Lighthouse and Bell Tower.
The 2025 Osprey Gala will be held on October 3, 2025, at A NEW LOCATION – St. Clair West, 23204 Coltons Point Road, Avenue, MD (https://www.stclairwest.net). The location was moved this year due to the possibility of the St. Clement’s Island Museum rebuild process taking place during that time frame. The program includes a reception, plated dinner, full open bar, sponsorships, and live and silent auctions.
While the Gala will remain in 7th District, at the St. Clair West venue, the Blessing of the Fleet event, held by the 7th District Optimist Club, will be held on October 4, 2025, at the Leonardtown, MD Wharf.
